It would be interesting to learn of old VSers who have acheived something significant (not theft of beer mugs). For example, a former food server at the Tampa VS is now the Honorable Pam Iorio, Mayor.

Doesn't seem much to respond to, although I'm glad I came across this site

Come on VSer's can't believe only John Rogers and myself are the only ones from Southfield and Troy that are on here.

I know we killed alot of brain cells back then but somebody must know somebodies where abouts. Where is Jim Hallman, Glenda, "Broiler Bob", Bob Beath, Jay Willoughby, Daus Hubert, Linda "Gyro" Carol Kurtz, Linda Foss, a just a few that come to mind.

Greetings to all of my VS family.  Is there anyone there who worked in VS Jacksonville?

Hi George,

I didn't work at VSJAX-but I flew the Victoria Station Hot Air Ballon over the top of the Independant Life Building(tallest Bldg. in Fla.).,during the St.John's River Festival in May of '77.-maybe You were there for the event wixh drew app 300,000 people.

The Mayor of Jacksonville-Hans Tansler, sent me a beautiful letter after the event and said that we had stolen the show,by ascending up,and crossing over the top of the building.

As payment for the exhibition,My chase crew and I were bought dinner at VSJAX .-plus gas money to drive up from VSFLL.-funny how the spirit of VS personell was stronger than the sense to get paid properly.
